“Currently Coveting – All things blush!”

Hi guys!  I wanted to start a new series of things that I’m “currently coveting” on my blog!  Right now, I am obsessed with anything blush!  From shoes to bags, I just can’t get enough of this color.  Definitely my favorite hue this season!  Check out my current faves below:

“#CoachSpring2016 Campaign”

Hey guys!  I feel like it’s been a while since my last blog post.  I’ve been on duty and on the go lately so it’s been a challenge trying to keep up!  I’m finally blogging about my Instagram project/collaboration with Coach for their #CoachSpring2016 campaign.  I am honored (and thrilled!) to be a part of such a fun project!  I spent the day in San Francisco with the help of my sister, Gladys (photographer extraordinaire) and much-needed assistance from my good friend, Andrea.  This shoot wouldn’t have been possible without you two, so thank you!

We shot two looks throughout the city featuring The Coach Swagger 20 mini bag and the C101 Low Top Sneaker.  Hope you guys like it!

Look #1:

Let me tell you about the cutest little bag: The Coach Swagger 20.  This pretty little thing matches my petite frame, but still makes room for my daily essentials.  It also comes with a strap if you’re a hands-free type of gal.  Perfect for roaming around in the city when you’re always on the go like me!

Look #2:

The white sneaker is the most coveted pair of shoes that are in every fashionista’s closet lately.  They’re cute, comfortable, and will go with just about everything.  The pink stitching on my Coach C101 Low Tops brings a nice feminine touch!  What’s not to love about these?  Heart emojis all the way!

Hope you guys liked my long and overdue post!  I apologize that it took so long to share!  I also wanted to take the time to thank you all for your continuous support of my blog!  I reached 10.5 K followers on my Instagram page recently and I am beyond grateful for each and single one of you!  My appreciation is boundless. ❤

“Happy Love Day!”

It’s Valentine’s day!  Do you have any plans for today/tonight?  In need of a last-minute going out/date outfit?  I’ve got you covered.  Something easy and not the usual cliché (cherry red!) that will make you arrive in style without looking like a Valentine’s day enthusiast!

Instead of wearing a red dress, I opted for darker colors: an oversized black blazer with a little peek of my bralette showing and a silver metallic pleated skirt with black pumps. If skirts don’t tickle your fancy, you can also do a leather pant or even denim and still look effortless!  For my flirty details, I added touches of pinks and blushes throughout. Not too much, but just enough to compliment the darks and for contrast.  Accessory tip:  statement earrings can easily add glam and polish such a simple look.  I wanted a fresh-faced look so I kept my makeup soft and finished it off with a cute little topknot!

Hope you guys like my no-fuss look for Valentine’s day.  It’s sweet without looking over the top!  Have fun celebrating love day. ❤

“Because pink can be edgy too.”

Oh, Pinks and blushes.  So pretty and delicate to look at.  It’s no wonder that Rose Quartz was picked as Pantone Color of the Year 2016 along with Serenity.  Yes, this color thing is an ACTUAL thing, guys.  The rose tone of my sweater looks so soft and feminine so I decided to add a little edge to it.  Want to know how to achieve this combo?  Here’s my equation: Pink + leather/camo = femme fatale.  I just love the contrast of edgy and soft for that sweet yet daring look.  Throw on some leather or even a military jacket and voila!  I love the way a good ol’ camo jacket looks against soft pinks.  I scored my camo jacket from Asos and guess what?  It’s actually a men’s jacket! Who would’ve guessed?  I love an oversized military jacket and this one goes with almost anything.  My closet would be nothing without this!

*Here’s a quick tip: don’t be afraid to browse the men’s section.  A lot of times, that’s where the goods are!  I love when its #borrowedfromtheboys *

To top it off, add some sunnies and studded boots to bring out your inner cool girl.

So guys, is it time to rethink pink? ❤

P.S. I just noticed that my purse isn’t closed in this photo.  Oops!  #nobodysperfect haha!

“Give thanks with a grateful heart.”

Happy Humpday, everyone!  Can you believe that tomorrow is Thanksgiving already? Seriously, where did the year go?!

I wanted to share a quick, little post before the Thanksgiving holiday starts.  I’m sure many of us are looking forward to the holiday weekend and spending time with our loved ones (that would be ME!).  This year, I have plenty of things to be thankful for. With all that’s happening in the world today,  I’ve learned to appreciate what I have and what God has blessed me with: the big things and the little things.  Growing up, my parents would always remind my sister and I that “there’s someone out there that is happy with less than what you have…” and it taught me how to be grateful.  Thanksgiving isn’t about the turkey and the Black Friday deals.  Spend this time with your loved ones, count your blessings, and be thankful with a grateful heart (everyday).

We are only a few days shy from December and I honestly can’t believe that it’s almost been a year since I started blogging.  Just wanted to let you guys know that I am thankful for all of you for reading my posts and for following along!  Love you guys!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones ❤

P.S. Wearing one sweater = two looks! Enjoy!

“#CoachFall2015 event”

Happy FriYAY, everyone!  Here’s a little recap of the Coach soft opening that I hosted a week ago in conjunction with another event, Cocktails and Couture at Westfield Valley Fair Mall. This so far, is a pretty significant highlight of my blogging career!  I have only been blogging for less than a year, and to have been able to do such a thing for a designer brand is truly awe-inspiring.  I am beyond the bounds GRATEFUL for this opportunity and I would also like to thank everyone, especially the ones closest to my heart for making the night enjoyable! ❤

I wish I could’ve taken more photos!  I guess you could say I was having too much fun! Thank goodness my sister, Gladys was around to help me snap a few here and there. Coats, shoes, jewelry and bags galore in the bigger and better location.  Coach now has an edgier, more streetwise spin on their classic label thanks to their new creative director, Stuart Vevers.  Start googling his resume.  You’re welcome. 🙂 Their ready-to-wear collection for Fall 2015 is full of city-country vibes (leather meets sheepskin) and coats that are cozy + cool.  Can I please have one of everything?  Le sigh. #wishfulthinking

Posing in my favorite vest: Topshop Faux Fur Gilet

Thank you, Coach for the cutest bag that is never leaving my shoulder this season.  It is perfect!  Again, thank you guys for supporting what I love to do and I appreciate each and every one of you.  Love you guys! ❤

P.S. I’ve also picked out some of my personal faves below just in time for gifting season and they are all under $125!  Have a fabulous weekend and happy shopping!

“Spring Fling with my closet favorites”

Is it possible to fall in love with your wardrobe?  My answer is, YES!  Currently lusting over these amazing items and I just can’t get enough!  Which one is your favorite?  What items are you craving this spring season?  Currently lusting over my Spring must haves!

Lovers Friends jacket – I’ve been wearing this closet staple quite a lot lately! The distressing of this jacket makes me feel more badass.  Love it!

J Brand distressed skinny jeans – J Brand does it again and this time, in white with holes.  How can you not love this?

Vince flatform sandals – SO comfortable, yet so stylish!  This color is new this season and I am in love with it!

Splendid stripe beach tote – How cute are the stripes and that tassel?  Perfect for shopping or just to carry your beach essentials.

Jacquie Aiche cluster earrings – Anything from her collection is a winner for me.  This ear jacket is anything but amazing!

Madewell panama hat – Adding instant spring/summer to your outfit as soon as you throw this on.

Fendi sunglasses – White and cat eye make a great combination.  Perfect sunnies if you’d like to make a statement!

Everlane – I love a blush colored blouse and this one from Everlane is easy to wear with anything.  So feminine!

“Mix it up”

Happy Friday everyone!  I wanted to share a casual Friday look with you today by mixing prints and doing a little pattern play!  I like to experiment with different textures and prints when styling my wardrobe because I think it’s fun and exciting!  The one thing that I always try to remember is to match the colors and NOT the patterns.  If you dare to try print on print (for starters) , I would suggest trying monochromatic stripes first because I think they count as solid colors.  Leopard print is a neutral (my personal fave) and it is also a good option to start with!  So easy and you can’t go wrong!  I hope these simple rules will get you guys started and maybe one day you will dare to go for a more bolder look! 🙂  Have fun mixing it up!

Fridays are all about being casual for me, perfect for kicking off the weekend ahead.  I like to dress down, but still look polished and effortless.  This printed shirt dress (and how cute is the bow?) is so versatile and can be styled in many ways!  I am wearing my Senso leopard booties (remember the matching of colors?) because I think brown tones compliment blue hues quite well.  I accessorized this look with a simple black backpack and my favorite Rayban sunnies!  Chic and weekend ready! ❤

“Street Chic”

Stylish sneakers everywhere have made it into people’s everyday looks and I am not mad about it!  Sneakers are known for its laid-back reputation, but this sporty staple are front and center in my wardrobe!  They are versatile, comfortable, and easy to wear.  They are not just made for the gym anymore, but rather a chic and low-key addition to any style outfit.  The way I style my sneakers is to look less “done” but screams “street chic” and not sloppy.  I styled my New Balance sneakers (can you see the gingham detail on the back? SUPER CUTE!) with my comfortable leather leggings.  I also wanted to add more color for contrast, so I chose this olive-colored, oversized silk blouse.  And my bag?  It is vintage Gucci which also doubles as a clutch.  Talk about functional!

The weekend is almost here!  Give your feet a break, kick off those heels and slip on a pair of sneakers today.  They are casual, cool and with a pop of color, it will make your outfit youthful and fun. ❤
